Quality printing in Luverne has experienced a lot of growth and progress in 25 years. Mark and Annie Opitz started their business in 1999. Annie said they bought a computer and learned how to use it. In order to create cash flow, the Opitz’s flipped two houses. Mark’s degree and experience in graphic design fueled their desire to own this business. Much has changed in the industry from big plate print design to computer software and technology used today. Quality Printing has 9 full time and 1 part time employee. Annie and Mark believe family should come first for their employees. She also told the young professionals to dream big and work hard. A fun fact is that with the installation of their new label machine Quality Printing will provide the labels for all the pork products sold at Trader Joe’s! Annie and Jenny Jorgensen also gave the young professionals tips and advice for creating their logo, banner and business cards. Thank you to Quality Printing for being a financial supporter of the SWMN CEO program.
